Moving System Files To New Disk
My system disk is about 80% filled up and I am looking to move the system files to a new disk for increased efficiency.
I believe the way to go is diskcopy, creating a clone of current system disk to a new disk. I have never done this and would appreciate any pointers to make this operation smooth and easy would be much appreciated.

Left handed mouse setting changes when shut down
HP laptop bought in March 2010. Windows 7. For the last year or so, the left-handed mouse setting reverts to the right handed setting when the computer is shut down. It didn't used to do this. Please help as it is quite annoying to have to reset it each time I turn the computer back on.

No Bootable device - Insert Boot Disc error.

I have Windows 7 on a AMD Phenom Machine.
Hard Drive died so I put another one in and restored Windows with Acronis True Image.

Half the time I get stuck on Windows logo screen on restarts
I have had this issue for a while but didn't decide to address it until now since essentially I still have a perfectly working OS. New GPU and PSU causing CPU Tempreture to skyrocket?
Hi
So Installed a new GPU and a PSU and everything seems to be working fine. However I noticed when idel the CPU tempreture is 50+ and when playing a game it goes up to 90+, I turned it off of course as I do not want to risk blowing the cpu.
Although I am not 100% certain I do believe the tempreture never really reached that high before I put in the new GPU. These tempretures are not safe...

Solved MSVCR80.DLL Missing
When I try to open a .pps file ,up pops an eror message telling me I do not have the above file, try re-installing it.
Using my wife's laptop I searched for the file msvcr80.dll and it came up with a file beginning with cc and a series of numbers.
I copied this to my C:\windows\system32\ directory but still get the same message when trying to open a pps.

Re-Starting from Hibernation, computer will not Boot
I have been using Hibernation at night with the monitor off for a couple of weeks on a daily basis without any problem with getting back to an operational computer.
Yesterday, computer would not come out of Hibernation and the screen stopped at starting windows but no further. After trying to reboot, the screen message was Status 0xc000411 along with issue at \hiberfil.sys.

Power options
Monitor screen goes blank without warning even though I am actively using the computer. Computer seems to think I'm not being active enough.
How do I stop this from happening? I've visited the following location in the computer:
Control panel/Power options/Edit plan settings/Turn off the display/[Options: 1 minute to 5 hours or "Never"]

Solved Laptop come out of sleep mode but screen is just black.
I put my laptop to sleep and I closed it I then just to check I opened it and well my computer indicator lights turned on, fan started going but screen was blank.
From google I get the idea that you should unplug power and take out battery and hold power button.
Is this correct?
Also no matter what I couldn't get my laptop to shut down by power button so I just let it drain the battery....

Fast boot up when 2nd HDD is disconnected.
Hello again,
Recently I installed a SSD and was happy with the speed.Boot takes about 14 seconds.I have another 2 HDD.one is Hitachi 1TB 7200 and another one is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 750GB HDD.So yesterday,i tried disconnect my Hitachi HDD and boot up my PC.My boot up time is way more faster about 8 seconds and even the windows flag haven't finished.Is it normal?:confused:

Application not Responding - usually Outlook 2010 but can be anything
I am desperately trying to track down some frequently repeating errors without having to do a complete repair install since the present installation is only about 5 months old.
